NIPPON RETRO The New God Karin and her “comrade” Ito have started a band, playing nationalist punk music. Left-wing filmmaker TSUCHIYA decides to give Karin a video camera to film herself and her daily life. Camera on board, Karin travels to North Korea and meets former Red Army terrorists who fled from Japan thirty years ago. Credits: About the director: Yutaka TSUCHIYA, born 1966, founded VideoAct! – a distribution firm for political independent films - in 1998.
