LEGAL NOTICE

1. Area of Application

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for tickets fort he Japanese film festival Nippon Connection 2007, in the form that is valid at the time of the order. Tickets ordered online can not be sent by mail. All ordered tickets will be deposited at the designated advance ticket counter or the designated regular ticket counter.

2. Contract

a) A ticket reservation is equivalent to an offer of the conclusion of a contract regarding a proposed service. The offer of the intention of purchase is given by the person ordering the ticket as soon as the reservation is completed. With the completion of payment the acceptance of the offer of a contract is accepted.
b) Confirmation will be sent by e-mail. Reserved tickets are only guaranteed upon presentation of this confirmation.
c) Nippon Connection e.V. accepts the methods of payment offered in the reservation form. The customer has the obligation of advance payment. If Nippon Connection e.V. becomes aware that the account of the customer does not have sufficient balance to guarantee payment, tickets can be witheld and returned to regular sales.

3. Returning Tickets/Cancelling Tickets

a) Reserved tickets can be cancelled with no additional cost via the homepage until 24 hours before the respective event. If the cancellation occurs laterr than that, the price of the tickets may not be returned.
b) When the price of purchase is returned, a processing fee equivalent to the bank transfer costs will be charged.
c) The refund of cancelled tickets can not be given out in cash. It will be transferred to the customers bank account within 14 days.
d) If the event in question is cancelled or rescheduled, the entire ticket price can be refunded.
e) If the event is rescheduled, the tickets fort he event stay valid unless it is announced otherwise.

4. Liability

a) Nippon Connection is not liable for the content, organization, course or quality of events that are organized by third parties. These events are marked with an S in the program.
b) Nippon Connection e.V. is not liable for any kind of damages, except in the case of extreme negligence or purpose.

5. Privacy Policy

Customer′s personal data will be automatically processed to the degree necessary for fulfilling the contractual obligations. Personal data will be handled in accordance with data protection laws and not be handed on to third parties.

6. Severability Clause

The contract stays valid even when single points from these terms and conditions are invalid.
