NIPPON CINEMA Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror Following a strange creature, 16 year old Haruka suddenly finds herself in an amazing place entirely made up of memorabilia. But Haruka is not supposed to be here, and the Baron, who rules that world, has put his eye on that unexpected intruder. And from here, the story bends dramatically into an unpredictable direction at increasing and uncontrollable speed … Credits: About the director: Shinsuke SATO, born in 1970 in the Hiroshima prefecture, attended the Musashino Art University. In 1994 he won the Grand Prize at the Pia Film Festival with his movie DORM AUSTERITY. Later he worked as screen writer and gave his feature film debut in 2001 with LOVE SONG. In 2002 he was a guest at Nippon Connection presenting his movie THE PRINCESS BLADE.
