Dear Doctor

In a small town in Japan the only doctor vanishes all of a sudden. He was regarded as somewhat of a miracle healer by the village people, because they know that issuing prescriptions is not the only thing that makes a good doctor. Director NISHIKAWA spins
a story light as a feather around the very profound question: What is a good decision regarding life and death?

About the director:
Miwa NISHIKAWA was born in 1974 in Hiroshima. Her debut film WILD BERRIES (HEBI ICHIGO),made in 2003, already won the 'Best New Director Award' at the Yokohama Film Festival. Her latest feature DEAR DOCTOR received 6 nominations at the Japanese Academy Awards, including 'Best Film' and 'Best Director'.
