NIPPON CINEMA 2008 has been one of the most successful years for the Japanese film industry in decades. More than 400 domestic films were released in Japan, and their market share grew to over 50 percent. The sheer variety of the films is dazzling, both within and outside of the mainstream. Once again NIPPON CINEMA presents a selection of the best works from the entire spectrum of Japanese film.
